Rain & More Rain

Is it just me or is this not enough rain now? Gauteng used to be known for its great weather & climate, lately feel like I live on Mud Island (UK for those uninitiated readers). Feel like I have not seen the sun for ages - which is probably because I haven't. I tried to play in a golf day on Friday & got all of four holes in, needless to say got many Castle Lites in!

The point I am making is that it is 29C in Mauritius today! My brother in law & a whole bunch of mates are currently there & living it up in Le Vic. Gentle breeze to cool things down is also making it just dandy! Would rather be there than sitting in this climate. He did tell me that I would regret not being on the trip, boy was he right.

Then I was also looking at the Internet & saw that Somerset West (Home base of Beachcomber SA) is busy burning down! Boy talk about things being topsy turvy, sounds like Mauritius is the place to be. Lastly I also note that my absolute favourite place Paradis now is also offering an upgrade opportunity to include Lunch and a few other things during your stay, I think I had better start planning my annual pilgrimage to Paradis in August with the family.
