My First Mauritius Educational
Hello everyone,
Hope you are all well. For those who didn't know I was in Mauritius for my educational in the beginning of February and what a way to start my educational by staying at the beautiful newly opened Trou aux Biches. It is pure luxury, food is amazing and staff are top notch, staff will not let you walk through the restaurant with a plate as they will come and whisk it away and take to the table for you - service incredible.
A few of the hotels that are my favourite are - Le Victoria (4 star superior) just took my breath when I saw it, definitely exceeded my expectations. The hotel is very spacious and easy access to any part of the hotel. On one of our nights we had dinner at the Seafood restaurant L' Horizon, the food was delicious, it was cooked to perfection. Staff are friendly and the service was excellent they seem to always be there when you need them. Rooms have recently been renovated and they are looking very nice and contemporary. Le Canonnier is also one of my favourite 4 star hotels. A very large hotel which I really did not picture it, beautiful large gardens for lovely walks after a big dinner lol. The entertainment at le Canonnier was excellent there were Sega dancers and after their routine they call the guests to join the dance. Le Canonnier have a very cute Kids club in an old fort, kids can just get lost in it thinking that they are pirates. They offer the all inclusive package which I suggest is a must for anyone who is looking for a good eating, drinking and relaxing holiday.
Out of the 5 star hotels my favourite are Paradis and Shandrani. First of all Paradis hotel is a hotel with a vibe, you feel so welcomed once steeping into the hotel. A very big and beautiful hotel and has a wonderful beach. 4 wonderful restaurants close to the beach, which in fact at the Italian restaurant you can eat dinner with your feet sunk in the sand. The plus side of Paradis is that you can also have dinner at their sister hotel Dinarobin, which is next door - so in total you have 8 restaurants and get to taste other cuisines. Paradis have a wonderful golf course with the Le Mourne Mountain just behind it, for any golf lover that is Paradise for them. Shandrani Hotel the fully inclusive resort definitely no limit to how much you want to eat or drink. After lunch we sat by the pool sipping French champagne before going snorkeling in the Marine. WOW what a first time experience. The sea was calm as it's in a marine which was a plus for me because I had never snorkeled before. All the colourful fish just blew my mind; there was even baby fish which was so cute. Some fish swim next to you but they are not harmful at all. The coral is also very cool, it kind of looks like cauliflower in the bottom of the sea. As I had the chance to go to each hotel, Beachcomber definitely caters for everyone and their specific needs. All of the hotels cater for children from 3 to 12years and also teenagers where they have specific activities for the teenagers. All of the hotels have their own little touch that will make your experience in Mauritius unforgettable.
Kind Regards, Maddy Afonso
