More than just a Beach

I was having a cold one last week with a mate who told me that there is nothing to do in Mauritius besides lie on the beach.

I nearly choked, "what rubbish" I said to him. "It is people like you that give places like Mauritius a bad name". He was not impressed and said, "ok big deal so tell me what else I can do there?". "How much time do you have I replied?"

In Mauritius there is so much to see whether you are young or old, sporty or just chilled, adventurous, inquisitive or acquisitive. Take time during your holiday to appreciate the natural beauty, the history and geography and meet the people of Mauritius. Or else just lie back on the beach & relax. There is however far more to Mauritius than just the beach.

• Zip Lining.
• Catamaran Cruises.
• Big Game Fishing
• Shopping Excursions.
• History Tours.
• Sightseeing Tours.
• World Class spa's.
• Golf.
• Learn to Kite surf.
• Dive with the dolphins.

After we had discussed all of these brilliant activities he apologized profusely and bought me another beer. Mauritius is far more than just a beach holiday.
