Slingman Arrives!
I was now free to leave the hospital after having been observed for 8 hours after the operation. All my functions worked and I was ready to start having a holiday rather than being cooped up in a hospital bed. Naturally my usual regime of skiing, diving with dolphins & tubing would be curtailed as I now had a plaster cast on the hand.
Needless to say I was delighted to say cheerio to the Darne clinic & to be heading back to Paradis. It was a rather strange experience as it was raining quite hard at the clinic which is in Floreal (the highlands of Mauritius). There always seems to be a big cloud build up there, needless to say as I was travelling towards Paradis, the old adage of "west is best" came to mind as the weather was quite exquisite. I arrived at Paradis to the most amazing sunset, all my mates & family were on the beach having sundowners & it was good to be back "home" at Paradis.
My experience over, I was now ready to try & relax and enjoy all that Paradis had to offer. I was going to make the most of it believe you me...............
