Happy New Year Everyone

Happy NewYear everyone and may all your dreams come true in 2012. Is it not wonderful that each year we get a chance to turn over a new leaf? Make some changes, look where we have gone wrong and try and learn from past mistakes.

The problem is, and I do speak from personal experience! Often we let the first bit of trouble or bad news deviate us from our set goals for the year. I have promised myself that this year will be different. That I will stay in the gym and out the bars! That I will eat the right food and not the fast variety that tastes delicious but sends your cholesterol into orbit. That I will be nice, rather than snappy when things don’t go my way.

Well the good news is 10 days into it and I am still going strong! Somehow I feel more relaxed at the prospect of another tough year. I know that we have quality staff, in fact the best around. 2012 is also the year that I no longer have any children at primary school, EISH! I must be getting on. Both Amy & James are now at High school, where does the time go? The other reason that I am so upbeat is because I am busy planning our Mauritius Family Holiday for the year and our Annual golf Tour where 24 mates get together and have a blast for three days. I have promised myself that 2012 will be a great year, I will stare adversity in the face if it tries to visit and I will try my very best to look at the funny side of all things that do happen. Often it is not what happens but rather how we respond to it that matters.

So that is my wish for all of you in 2012, may you prosper, may you attack your goals and make them a reality and may you be surrounded by people who love you. It is funny how much my family love me when I am taking them to Mauritius!!! Have a great year everyone and here is my last thought for a Happy New Year thanks to Robert Paul and which I have to say everyone here at Beachtag thinks of me! “I'm a little bit older, a little bit wiser, a little bit rounder, but still none the wiser”.
