We arrived at the island after a few cold ones on the Catamaran Harris Wilson. My kids have always been a bit wary of snorkeling & the big blue below. The tender boat took us to the island & we had snorkels & goggles in tow. After an initial swim close to the shores to build their confidence the kids wanted to swim with me back to the cat.
It was simply spectacular, much bread, rice, cake was used to lure the fish closer. The fish know that the boats bring with them some snacks, so tip is to swim between the boats as the do attract loads. We saw a turtle, king fish, queen fish and lots of others as well. The trip on the cat & the snorkeling were well worth it. The one downside is that there are loads of boats & people but it is a good day out. The trip back was also fabulous with loads of music, rum punch & phoenix & cool drinks for the kids.
The kids confidence was built and they snorkeled for the rest of the holiday with no problems. A good day out was had by all.
