Master of Disaster or Man with a Plan?Have I told you that I am mad about
Mauritius, some would say just plane mad?
Naturally I needed to work out a way to get back to Mauritius. The ruse of work was not going to work again as my boss had told all & sundry that I had the time of my life at the companies expense, he said it like it was a bad thing! I had in the interim become his boss which certainly made him even more serious. So there I was recently promoted, some loot in the back sky & places to go & people to see. Naturally I headed for my new best pal, Mauritius. This time with the whole fandamily. Once again, I would book your trip with Beachcomber, our favourite Mauritius supplier & Le Victoria was our hotel of choice. My wife was convinced that we needed bedroom curtains more than a Holiday to an Island where she was going to get sunstroke. She's Scottish you see so a bit tight, it was the Scottish after all that invented copper wire fighting over a penny. The Scottish skin type is also not typically adept at convincing the sun that it can get tanned.
Needless to say ten days later she was a convert, our children had just had the times of their lives & so had we. We had just made a babysitter very wealthy in her own right by going out every night. For the first time with two young kids we were able to enjoy restaurants, spend time together on the beach and just relax while the kids had the most awesome time with other recruits at Beachcombers Bob Marlin Kiddies club. My daughter still remembers that trip and it has instilled in her a sense of adventure & wanderlust for all things foreign travel related. I often tell her that she had better marry a very rich man if she intends to keep that up or alternatively always be on the lookout for beachtag specials.

Le Victoria is a fantastic family resort and kids love hanging out with their new friends at the Bob Marlin Club. But if you are not travelling with kids, don't worry, the resort is great for couples too.
