June Holidays

Winter is here in full force
Next week Friday I travel to Mauritius of course
I will beat the winter blues
Slip slops will be the best shoes
Maybe I am getting older
But this Winter does seem colder
Warmer Climes is what I seek
If it rains in Mauritius I will be bleak
8 days of pure bliss
The winter days I will not miss
Golf with my son
Always lots of fun
Tube rides with my girl
The boat driver always gives us a whirl
Cocktails with my wife
Always keeps me out of strife
The salad man on the beach
Means that JHB is out of reach
Quality time with family & friends
Wishing it would never end
That is what Mauritius in June promises me
There is no other place that I would rather be
So from next week Friday
It is 8 days of My Day
The best place on earth
Not great for my girth
But good for the soul
That is my goal
