Rugby World Cup - Beachtag Style
Rugby World Cup is Underway Let's hope the Bokke can have their say Will the mighty All Black Once again get hijacked? Or will the Aussies rule the roost? To once again give their proud Nation a boost The men from Japan although small in size Are also looking to take the prize Once the tournament is in the knockout stages I am afraid that the boys from Tonga Won't be there for any longer The Canadians whilst looking for 1st prize Will surely not surprise The Romanians whilst being fond of beer Are not going to remain here The proud Nation of Scotland Definitely need a helping hand Whilst the Namibians Once they see the wet weather will wish they were amphibians The strong and robust Pumas Will need to speak to their Indunas Samoa will have their say I certainly hope that pool D does not go their way USA, USA, USA But not Today Will Irish eyes be smiling? Or will it be a new coach that they are dialing? The men from Wales Should surely be on an early flight home to attend the sales Whilst the small Fiji Nation Surely will not have a massive celebration The Oil barons of Russia Will not have a gusher And then there are the Italian Stallions They will not get any gold medallions The very stylish French Should not be able to get out of their trench While the men from Georgia as tough as teak Will not last more than the opening weeks My prediction for what it is worth Is that one of the Tri nations will win the 1st berth Whilst many will be aiming to win The Rugby world Cup is about sink or swim I think that only three teams can win it I hear you say is it? Come on Bokke make us proud The darlings of a nation that is very loud You will have your chances, make them last The next six weeks will be an absolute blast Bokke, Bokke, Bokke be the team to beat In the knockout stages turn up the heat For I fear that the All Blacks will definitely be the team to beat.
Our prediction here at Beachtag is for one of South Africa, New Zealand or Australia to win the Webb Ellis Trophy. Come on boys we know that you can do it........ Honest Jonny over & out!
