So what does 2012 hold in store for us?
My feeling is that a lot depends on the European Bus.
Their currency is in a heap.
Can they carry on digging or are they too deep?
The Mauritian Rupee is based largely against the Euro.
Not against our traditional measure the United States Dolero.
On a personal note my year is off to a flawless start.
A regular in the gym these days! Now that's a rare form of art.
It hasn't helped, as I still look a bit fat.
But no need to worry about that.
Last week Beachtag had a record turnover.
Something that we never dreamt of sober.
So January has got off to a good beginning.
Seriously I am not fibbing.

If no one joins us it will be a real drag.
My family is social, very vocal.
And my goodness do they wish that they were local.
2012 might be tough.
Of that we may not be able to bluff.
But Mauritius is calling.
